I picked up these 3 items, along with some other great stuff at an estate sale over the weekend. I missed the first day so the house was pretty picked over but tons remained. After a few hours of digging, I made some great finds that included lots of WWII stuff people had missed.

The items I’m curious about are these 3. I’m pretty sure the fork is real but the 2 aluminum items have me wondering.

The tent spike would be a strange item to reproduce/fake but anything is possible. The stamp is somewhat crude but I doubt they wanted to spend lots of time marking mundane items.

The small knife has me stumped. It too has a crude mark but at the same time it’s well made. The shank is stainless steel with a very sharp edge. To me, it resembles a mini steak knife which would go into a mess kit but my boss suggested U-boat. It’s compact and light which fits naval stuff since space is at a premium below deck. Maybe an officers dining utensil?

Has anybody seen either of these items or know if they are obvious fakes? Online image searches have gotten me nowhere with nothing even close to what I have.
