Ok, here's the situation everybody. I have an Ace 250 and many of the places I hunt here in central Texas are extremely sandy and the place I'm most interested in, the wheaties I have pulled from there were all at about 7-8 inches.

I have the stock coil that came with my 250. I would like to know what coils are out there for a reasonable price that can give me more depth than the stock coil? Thank you all and HH!

if you're digging them out at 7-8 inches, you're doing great. if you want to go deeper you could try a larger coil.
if you want better separation in trashy areas go with a double D coil. good luck

The 10 x 14 DD Excelerator coil has worked well for me. It will go a couple inches deeper than the stock coil, covers more ground and falses a heck of a lot less than the stock coil. The only difference is you pinpoint off the front end of it instead of the center and it is a bit heavier. Kellyco has them for $150. http://www.kellycodetectors.com/excelerator/excelerator-10inch.htm
