Hi John,
Your graph test figures pretty well matches what I get from my Infinium. the only difference is that I used an Aussie 5 cent & 10 cent coin and both could be heard at the same distances even thought the 5 cent is slightly smaller than the 10.

09 Feb 2011.
Correction.
The 5 cent detects out to 35 cm (13.7 inches)and the 10 cent goes to 40 + cm (15.7 inches)at threshold 5 and disc at zero
The 5 cent is 20mm diam x 1.5mm thick copper/nickel weight 2.9gm average
10 cent is 24mm diam x 1.9mm thick copper/nickel and weighs 5.66 gm average .

PS.
10 Feb 2011

I have 6000DI PRO SL that will air test (max sens & 950 Blue max coil) on the 5 cent at 45cm (17.7 inches) and the 10 cent at 55cm (21.6 inches). I have only ever been able to use the max sens setting in very quiet fresh water river sand

Some say the Sea Hunter is easier to use than the Infinium but is very slightly less sensitive than the Infinium at the beach. I agree with the Sea Hunter being easier to use but am unsure about the sensitivity. It is a close contest for beach detecting. The Infinium wins hands down in high iron mineralisation.
