i'll have to check that on mine, more often when i press the button it shuts off.

Yes if my Probe is on & I press the Button
it shuts off

I love my garrett probe for dry sand, but I adore my vibra probe for wet sand and in the shallow waters, since my garrett doesnt like anything wet.. so I wear both.

If my probe looses its foam I think I might try a dab of clear silicone, about the diameter and thickness of a nickle. That should be a good fix. If it ever happens I will test it out, and post it, if not well.............................................. ...
