    Garrett GTP 1350

Ordering GTP 1350. Price was a few more dollars than AT Pro. Which do you think is a better model?

    Re: Garrett GTP 1350

I have operated a GTP 1350 for about 5 years. I've used it long enough to learn what it is telling me, most of the time. With the huge 10X14 DD coil it will look 10 inches deep. With the Sniper coil it will detect in a trashy area but only about 4 inches deep. I just got the Propointer and it cuts down recovery time tremendously. The frequency that the 1350 uses is not as ideal as it is in the AT Pro. Plus the AT Pro has the various modes to choose from. Probably the best aspect is the digital readout. Let me just say, my next detector will be an AT Pro.
