I have read I few threads where people using the At Pro talk about when they GB their detector they will either notch it up a few or reduce it if the soil will let them. I was wondering what this does for the depth and why. I have only had mine for just over a month and still learning a few things here and there but have it down pretty well. Always looking for new tips to improve my finds. Thanks for any help that can be given

Some users run it a little hot by turning the ground balance a little lower than auto. It's a personal preference. When running it different than auto, the ID numbers can sometimes be less stable.

Thanks for the info. I thought I might have been running my wrong or not getting a 100% out of it doing auto balance
