I figured those outer rings on Mexican coinsmight make a nice project to produce a ring. Popping out the centers was easy. I annealed the coin, places it on an anvil on top of a ball-bearing, put on top of the coin a plastic pipe, tapped it and the center popped out. The 10 peso coin was much easier to work with, as the outer ring was made of 92% (ninety-two percent) copper; 6% (six percent) aluminium; and 2% (two percent) nickel. The outer ring of the 5 pesos coin was made of a stainless steel alloy including steel and nickel, making it very hard to work with. The sizes are posted.
Hey mister......I sell you a ring for 600 pesos today.......best price
