They might just be using a 1/4" adapter. You can unplug in <1 sec.

Don't know of any kind of "cut out" device though!

I use the 1/4" adapter. MUCH more convenient and it gives me better headphone options!

Yeah I actually told Ken at Three Seasons Treasure Hunters to hold the one he has for me earlier today. I want to use ear buds like I did with my F2. Do you have any recommendations for 1/4 inch headphones with volume control?

Right now I'm just using the cheap Garrett ones. Vol control & lightweight. With our hot/humid summer we're having the lightweight is real nice!

Nice! Ill check them out. The ones that came with my AT Pro are too bulky, I get drenched in this heat

Ya the quarter " headphone adapter definetly worth it ull have much more options on brands to use instead of limiting urself
