I don't really. Only once or twice have I found really trashy areas where the sniper would benefit...I thought about getting the 5X8 coil, but I am gambling on a gut feeling. I have a client w/ an ACE, it has the 5X8 coil on it, and it hasn't moved in their garage in at least a year. Waiting for the right time to talk about it, maybe I can score it cheap. So I am excited to see this little biscuit in action, my first project will be a re-do of a house built in 1900, one of these days...HH!

Been running a 5x8 for a couple years without changing it back to stock coil. The separation seems enough in most trashy areas. It's great on the rare occasion when silver is in with trash near it and it hits just enough to know it needs digging when slowly swinging over it and getting multiple signals. For near metal fences and bleachers ect. the sniper might help more.

Listen guy... if I listed what I told my wife "I really needed" I'd use 3 total pages here on just one post. And it now would be hard to list in proper order. But I could probably come up with a top 5 list if pressed. I hope you get your coil buddy!!!!
