Was looking through my colonial flat buttons today and came across what I thought was a colonial dandy button. Upon further inspection I do believe I found my first colonial copper. What do you think? Thanks for looking.
90% of my finds were pulled from the ground with my new ATP. Love this machine.

I think I know what it is!!!. At some point in the past I have heard that it was cheaper for roofers to use coins for washers then it was to buy washers and that was how a lot of cold large cents ended up with holes in the centers of them. I am not sure if that is true or not but I have taken equipment apart in the past and have found washers made out of Small cents.
