I ended up buying the Garrett Pro since I read great reviews on it and the Super Wand is used for security check although KellyCo said that can also be used as pinpointer.

Yeah, but I couldn't wait, my detector should arrive this weekend. I'll probably get it when it comes out and have this one as an extra.

I'd call back for the pro pointer. The wand is just that "A Wand" to cover a large area for any signs of metal. Your working with a hole not much bigger then your fist. 90% of the time you'll pull out the object with the plug. The three inches of reach the pro pointer generally works with is perfect. That's why it's still the best and most popular ever made.
