watercolor is correct it's a 5 cent silver coin also called fishscales due to their small size.

Thanks Bill: I don't see many old Canadians often so no book// My very best coin is a 1830 US 1/2 dime in ex cond, I carry it all the time and show it at the drop of a hat//// Perry stuck indores here in NH but soon to Fla for 10-12 days and MDing///

No even at 30 power I can only see a bit of a crown --nothing else--on the obverse I can make out Victoria xxx
