Hey everyone.
I just wanted to stop for a second and tell a little story about some
customer service.
I have not search land for over 20 years and, the bug hit me this winter.
So, I checked out some posts and thought it was time to jump back in with
both feet. I called Kellyco and asked Tony what he thought of the Fisher
CZ-3D. He told me it was a nice machine and that it was deep. After doing a
little more taking to him I said "yep lets do it"
He helped me place the order and then told me about their BOGO sale
that would let me get a machine for my wife as well. Now, not ever wanting to
give up those brownies points I said picked a Bounty Hunter for her as well.
She loves her machine and, I was finding some nice things with my 3D but,
not the way it should act. I started to think it was me and got the DVD to go
with it to help. This is when I found out it was not me it was the machine.
Fisher made this machine in El Paso and, after talking with Tom he told me
that this serial number was not a good one and that they had trouble with the
ones with these numbers. Instead of acting like a 3d it was acting more like the
CZ5. Not, that there is anything wrong with that but, when you pay for a better
machine you want to get what you paid for.
When I called Tony back and, told him the whole story and, he said he would help me. I sent the machine back to them and, I have a new Etrac that should be
here any day now.
I have been in business myself for over 27 years and, this is who I treat my people.
Some people hate to deal with big companies and, always want to
use a small "mom-pop" ( like my pet store is ). And, honesty is the best always.!!!
Tony was able to help me with my problem and, for me that means a lot.
While reading other posts in other forums I have seen that they have gone out
of their way to help others.
If, you deal with a nice "mom-pop" you will most of the time get the same kind of great service. What we all need to remember is that all business need to make $$
that is the only way to stay in business. We forget that sometimes
So, for me in my case it was great service.
Thank you for reading this I hope it helps at least one person who might need
to know and, enjoy the hobby we all love.
