Okay, so it's not r e a l l y the Bates Motel.

My daughter is an urban explorer and photographer. She photographed an abandoned hotel in the desert that was a destination for the rat pack and other monied and blinged types. Anyhow, one thing in her pics of this location stood out. So, I looked at her photos of other locations.

Yup!

Seems to be fairly consistent that one of the last things to fall apart or be removed from 20th century abandondments is.......
the P-trap in the bathroom.

Let's see...secure permission. Get a wrench. Gloves. Safety glasses. Respirator. 5 gallon buckets -- in case the dried out pipes need to be taken home to be completely emptied.
But...no.
Within 1 week of my ah ha moment...the blasted thang was leveled and trucked off. >:(

Any DIY'ers or plumbers out there want tell us what can be found in a P-trap?
