Yesterday (Thursday) I went out to a local park I've had my eye on right after work. About every third swing I would get a single hit and then could not get it to repeat... This went on for quite a while until I realized that each "hit" happened when my foot was close to the loop.

I had on my steel toe boots! :tard:

I have a pair of Reebok's in the truck now... ;D

Last weekend my son and I did a 150 mile round trip to the beach.
Couple bottle caps and 1 lincoln.
Back home and tired tried a new to us tot-lot at a school.
Left my Lesche in the vehicle 'cause bark chips are easy.
Nothing there. Try the bench by the track. Hit!
All I had was my Benchmade knife that I had found last year to dig with.
Got a newer nickel.
A couple more hits but they came in at 5" or so and was 150 yds. back to the rig.
So tired I wrote them off.
Always carry a good digger.

I've made all these mistakes as well as stocking the cooler with cold Bud , placing all my spare batteries on top of the cooler , and then driving off to the hunt with the cooler left sitting in the yard .
MDind is a total learning experience and you have to be able to laugh at your mistakes .
