With the Sunray inline probe it is more than a plain probe as it is more like a 1" coil that runs off you detector's batteries, sens and disc. Targets show up on the screen just like the big coil.

Is that neato or what?

Like Sandman says and you can narrow the field to pinpoint even closer by pulling the trigger switch just like on the main coil. And, plenty of depth.

You may or may not like. They are not for everyone. But, you will have to try one for a while to see. They do a good job for most.
