Received this package today from my buddy & hard-core detectorist, LocoLarry!
He said the Jackson digging tool, pinpointer, & MD mags were just sort of a
welcome-to-the-hobby gift! (Cycling is just another hobby we happen to share)









THIS is the thing I'm MOST psyched about! This is a SERIOUSLY nice tool!
The pics don't EVEN do it justice! I mean, REALLY!











Then, he leaves me this note inside the pinpointer box, saying "Do Not Reciprocate!"
Can U BELIEVE this guy? The NERVE of some people, I tell ya...
He KNOWS I don't know what those big words mean, but it sounds nasty, if U ask me!



We should all be so lucky as to have friends like this!

Yeah, ol' Larry's the salt of the Earth, seriously! Incidentally, I sold him short in one of my previous posts, when I referred to him as a 30-year veteran of detecting.... he's actually a 38-year veteran! Not to mention, actually BEING a veteran for REAL! (SALUTE, SALUTE!)

The part about "George Bush's birthday" cracked me up, too!
