You've done your research, planned your recovery, and one fine morning you find a stash worth millions! Easy Street forever, right?

Probably not.

This show reveals what has happened to people who have become suddenly rich, and it ain't pretty.

So listen to this program, and you may decide that coinshooting is great, but treasure hunting is maybe just a little bit scary.

Or would YOU be able to handle that much money with no problems?

Sure you would.

Without the benefit of looking at the links yet. I'll say, I'll give finding those millions a shot! :laughing9:

Admittedly, I'd give most of it to the church, my family,
& charities, but I'd pay off my house, & buy a new truck first!

Didn't try to listen either,
But Figure it is probably filled with
Stories by Paranoids about Being Robbed.

the only Real Problem I could imagine
is all the Thefts by the IRS &
attempted thefts by
Spain, Archies, Special intrest Groups
who try to claim it's on their land &
Charities Begging for Handouts.
Like I Owe them something :dontknow:

But Once I would make it Clear I don't
plan to hand a cent to any Charity
except the ones that Begin "At Home"
(ME .. My friends & Family)
I think I Could end the Begging

the Charities can get their cut from the IRS
& Big Oil
after they steal it from me.

This does raise a good point.

It will be very rare that any treasure hunter/ hobbyist will find anything worth tens, hundreds or thousands of dollars. Million dollar finds will be even rarer.

But every hobbyist ought to have a plan in place as to what they going to do if they make that gigantic hit and stick with it. :icon_pirat:

Didn't listen....

But those of us

who can handle a tremendous find

won't make it known.

Even taxes can be paid anonymously.

...yeah buddy!

Update:
Then I got to thinking ... I should've used my ears before I use my mouth ... like my Grammy used to say.
So I listened to the podcast. Very interesting.
I actually know someone with similar misfortune. He won a modest $1mil. Bought 2 new sedans; the day that he and his wife drove them off the lot, within seconds, his wife's car was totaled by an oncoming vehicle. The mileage was in feet, not miles. Within 5 years, they filed bankruptcy.
The podcast is good food for thought.
Going back to Dan's site to snoop around some more.

Glad I payed attention in math class...but that must mean I'll never win the lottery. I rarely play the lottery anyhow. I call it "instant loser".

I've only searched for 2 caches. One I would have bragged about, the other, I'd have kept my big mouth shut. Needless to say...I still work for a living so I haven't got rich yet.....or have I???
