is the XP Deus worth buying??

im going to buy a XP Deus and apart from what i know the weight of the detector is gonna help me as my shoulder and elbow joints aint too good i wanna know from all the Deus owners on here since you changed from your old detector to the Deus has it made your metal detecting hobbie much easier and produced more finds

I hope the Deus will work for Your elbow problems! The Deus is lighter than the G-maxx or GM. Im a proud owner of a G-maxx and can only tell You from buddys who own a Deus. Its simply several detectors in one due to the settings possible. If You know which one is the best for the area Youre detecting and the expected finds You will be more successful. But from my own experience the difference is not as much as expected. Its Your choice! What i would do is: Go for the Goldmaxx and order the Deus shaft. Looks a little funny with the lead wound around the telescope but it is lighter than the stock one and You save Yourself some money. Anyways the Deus is a great detector! Like the design and with the hipmount control unit You have not much to carry....
