i have 1960,62,63, and 64quarters dont know anything about them. found them in some old stuff! they look silver can anyone tell me anything about them. i also have some dimes that are 1946, 53, 54, 59, 62, and 64. if anyone could tell me anything its greatly appreciated!
Silver US Washington quarters contain about 0.1809 oz. silver each. You have 4, so you have a total of 0.7236 oz. silver in the quarters.

Silver US Roosevelt dimes contain about 0.0724 oz. silver each. You have 6, so you have a total of 0.4344 oz. silver in the dimes.

You have a total of 1.158 ounce of silver the the coins you mentioned. Silver is currently selling for 39.90/ounce, according to Kitco.com. Therefore, you have coins containing $46.20 in silver value at this time.

You would probably not receive that much if you put them up for sale or took them to a local coin dealer. You would be lucky at this time to clear $40. for your coins IMO.

Hang on to the silver (and gold) as long as you can. Used to be (1850's) when a 20 dollar gold piece would buy a really good suit. Still will today! Try that with a 20 dollar piece of paper! NOT! TTC
