I would have to say that every one's dream that detects is to find a lot of Gold , coins , jewelry , or a large Cache........That is what i hunt for and dream about " booty" , "loot ".......... A lot will say they only hunt for fun............... But to me that is Bull S__t just a lie.............. They want to find as much as they can......................... THAT'S MY DREAM...Find as much as i can.

You are absolutely right! Although I enjoy just getting out to detect, I secretly hope to find that "treasure".
I believe a lot of the stories are just that, but,.........Just maybe there is some truth out there and I can find it.
