Southern California ranging from mid 70' to mid 80's inland.

Weather affected by hurricane activity along Pacific Ocean from Baja Mexico to La Paz.

Balmy now but expect to drop into normal patterns at end of October which will be 50-60's daytime to 40's at night.

Inland from ocean, the weather can be expected to be chilly, especially in the valleys and mountains. Snow patterns should be expected about end of November.

It got down to 34 last night, but that was a fluke. For once I'm glad I'm in Florida. Think I'll go water hunting this weekend! :)

Up in No Kal about 60 miles north of San Fransicko it is warm inland (70's and low 80's deg F) and about 60-65 deg F on the coast. Cool at night. Had some fog in the mornings, but we had some really clear nights about 2 days ago. Heard it will stay like this for a few more days then a short cooling trend. Only one rainy spell so far this fall. Extended MDing season for us fair-weather types!

We had 10" inches of rain between 10-16 and 10-17. Killed 4 people in flood waters (trapped inthe vehicle) and then on the 18th the temperature shot up to 90+ degrees creating a sauna-like atmosphere. Flooded several homes and disabled traffic flow in some areas for almost 4 hours. Other than that Today's weather is beautiful.....

Laater...

Jeff,do you remember the winter of 1996-1997? So much snow I couldn't find the roof of my truck.Another season like that?Hope not!

that may have been the year I had to hire a Backhoe to Clear my driveway, several times.
and they even shut the County down.

We're definately overdue.

I was stationed in Rapid City, SD during the blizzard of 1988 (March no less) and idiot me tried to get to work the morning the blizzard started. Didn't make it and got stuck and walked back to the car. Went back three days later when the snow stopped and found the antenna of my car sticking out of a snow bank. The snow plow just missed my car by a couple of feet. Took a week for the snow to melt enough to get my car out of there. Not fun, and I don't want to ever have to do it again.

Been just under 30 here for the last week-Celsius that is ;) thats apparently 86 degrees in yank terms
Dang sunny today!!! Its the best time of year here-before it gets stupidly hot! This is gonna be a HOT summer!!! Bushfire season started 2 months early this year due to the drought and heat we're having. So I'm a bit worried about summer. Just thought you all might want to here about the heat.

Don't freeze too much,
Salvager
