What makes you think others aren't "honest"? They are all in business to make a profit so you will never get the current market price for what you sell. Some do offer WAY too little, but I bet most are close enough in offered price to make it a wash.

Have you tried talking to any of your local coin dealers?

it all depends on what you are wanting to sell silver or gold.

Cut the middle man out...sell to a collector, better still ME :laughing7:

Best to find a coin dealer and let them know you will pay him for an honest
Appraisal. Tell them initially you have no intention of selling anything
In the collection, but would pay them for an individual written appraisal of each item.
If they have no interest in acquiring the collection, they should be up front with you.
I,d ask for an honest retail appraisal, and what you could actually expect to get for each item. E
,it's worth the extra $ if u got a de ent collection.
