Tesoro Lobo coil question for Vaquero

Okay, I have heard that widescan coils typically have a little less depth than concentric in good ground. But how does the 10 inch Lobo coil fair up on a Vaquero as far as depth is considered? Is it that much different than what you get with the 9x8 stock coil? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Dirtfisher! When you move to the Double D 10" eliptical, you may get better depth in that hot Virginia soil. The Double D handles mineralization better than the concentric. The signal transmission pattern is a little different, and you need to really pay attention to overlapping your swings and going low and slow. It is a DEEP coil in hot soil!
