Hey guys, I'm Softmer, and I'm new to the treasure hunting hobby.


My question to you is, what sorts of unfound treasure's/legends are out there? Like Blackbeard's treasure? Things like that. Examples would be nice.

Check the treasure legends and cache hunting boards. There are lots posted.

If you're interested in a bunch of such legends, just get back issues from the 1960s, '70s and early '80s of any of the treasure magazines. They were loaded with such stuff. And they all sort of sounded like this: "They dying miner drags himself into the wild west saloon .... the lone survivor of an indian attack. As curious onlookers come to his aid, he spills the story of fabulous riches in his mine. He gives 3 clues, before succumbing to his fatal injuries, thus never being able to reclaim his now fabulous lost-mine".

Heck, if you want a few more such ghost stories to chase, I'll make up a few for you myself

Now don’t get discouraged, all I think these fine gents are try to say is it takes a lot of hard work ,,, and some of the pointers of looking in the cache forums to get some tips…but mainly read today’s finds and see what people post.. a lot of civil war areas in parks , or baseball fields ,state/county fairgrounds ect…
