I got the winter time blues i wanna go detecting so bad i just dont want to dig through 6 inches of snow im tired of watching everyone else detect and finding great stuff its time to move south

ha ha i was gonna post that same exact video lol well we still have more snow coming this week and it sucks im tired of sitting in the house i have so many places lined up and just cant go

You are south! stopped today when i saw a guy swinging a detector on edge of road(around a foot of snow).
Asked if he was doing good,he said he lost his phone snowmobiling.
Yaa, i,m ready for diggin again. Hang in there.

Yes, that is a 1 ton truck. We got 5 feet of snow in the last 24 hours.

*sigh*, why won't the national news cover us when we get a blizzard?

Medic has us beat! Buddy is off marlin fishing. I,m debating about plowing him in. If it wasn,t for checking on his stock i probably would have.

Starting Tuesday they are calling for significant ice accumulations plus all the snow it looks like it's gonna be weeks before I can get out again

I feel for ya....here in upstate ny we still have about a foot left on the ground....problem is that before the snow we had a cold snap that froze the ground down a foot......that will take some time to thaw.

Iam so ready for spring myself. Is has been ne ahitty winter if you wanna call it winter. We in chicago didnt have any snow until last week now we are suppose to get more. The ground before the snow was either frozen or muddy so no detecting. Come on spring.

I can handle the mud and cold and even a lil bit of snow but not 10 inches so I've Been putting my finds in cases and stuff to pass the time

Been plowing and shoveling. Added a couple sites,turned out i was off a good hundred yards on a depot location.
Still in habit of scanning local park on the way past to see if anyone's out.

I'm gonna be detecting a lot of farm houses this year a few parks in Michigan and some lakes with the AT PRO i had a blast last year detecting in the water I found a lot of jewelry
