The black hole between Montana and Colorado.
Detector(s) used
Truffle seeking pig modified for metal.

The results have been so-so

When the pig fails me (which is often), I am relegated to a CTX3030 *sigh*. Like the dark ages or something.

That was interesting.

A few years ago, there was a large wildfire in a remote part of Wyoming. As they were scouting the area, firefighters found a 50lb crate of dynamite hidden under a rock. They figure it has been there for 50+ years.

Hyper unstable stuff LOL..

yeah, when I was a kid we found a crate in my neighbor's basement.
"ooh, flares!"

I remember wiping them off, wondering if they would still light if they were wet.

Little did I know that the "wet" was the nitro leaching out of the filler" :tard:

Needless to say, it was quite exciting to see the fire department and the bomb squad.
They transported it to a nearby field and just burned it off.

Non event. The local LEOs put a charge on top of a suspected explosive to see if blowing it up makes a bigger explosion. The "bangs" are non events.

The mushroom clouds mean we all avoided a catastrophy.
