it bugs me also when a response is one line and the post is 3 screens worth of Scrolling


But, I'm not King of the world.
so just because something bugs me, doesn't mean the world needs to change.

Anyway, I just had to say I liked allot of the responses .

You do not have to ignore people with the huge sig block. Go to your settings and under the general settings you have the choice to show avatars or not and to show signatures or not

Thanks! I didn't see that option. I checked it and, unfortunately, the signature is gone but the blank space is still the same size.

Quoting a post that is a page long just to post a 4 word or a single one line comment to a single thought is far worse, many times it is quoted multiple times in same thread...

Like CAPS it looks like shouting. People that take up a lot of space with all their personal politics that usually have nothing to do with the post simply crave attention. They think if their views are large and bold they will intimate others. Sabre rattling and a feeling of self importance.

It is no big deal, there are keys on every PC that says "page up" or "page down", you can also increase the number of posts per page in your profile which increases the speed of the scroll in the phone ap and PC application....

Sounds like nit-picking to me, but if someone's signature really offends you and elevates your blood pressure.............

Click "settings"
scroll down to General Settings
Thread Display Options
Visable port elements
click off the check mark on "signatures"

or you can just ignore them. I wonder how many have me on ignore?

Customizable solution: Use Ad Blocker Pro for your browser (I use the Chrome extension).

1) Install the Ad Blocker Pro
2) Right click on the massive signature items that displease you so much.
3) Click "Block Element"
4) The signature items (and the space they take up) disappear.
5) If all iterations of said offending elements do not disappear, then refresh the page. Done.

It also gets rid of thousands of annoying ads all over the net. It's brilliant, I tell you!
