1967 HS Classring found and returned

I found this 1967 classring in a park near Denver. It was my first! I am new to to detecting but sensed it was a ring as I probed about two inches. I am happy I did not scratch it.

Research on the internet gave the high school website. School suggested Classmates.com. Within day of posting a classmate gave the information. The owner had moved to another suburb away from the park but was really happy to have it retrieved.
