Dont have any web sites for you but stay away from national parks.My cousin and i was arrested in one here in california.Not knowing the law was not an excuse according to the ranger.Read up or ask is the best way.Good luck!!

Most Federal land is a no - no, Better check the laws first,before you say anything. Here in Virginia,everything is off limits.State land,federal land,National Parks and forest's.
Don't take a chance of losing your MD,big fine,and so on. Keeping the treasure,........I wouldn't bet on it.

Here in pa you have to get a permit to hunt in the parks but some parks are off limits it's up to the DER if you can hunt it. all parks have there own regulations also if you find anything of historical value you have to turn it in. if it's state forest property same go's as above. as of turning something in well you use your judgement all I can say is if you turn it in it well go in a cabnet somewhere or end up in someones collection but not yours!
