doesn't any one know how to skitch anymore

Remember when we use to "skitch" behind cars. You know.. we would sneak up behind one at a stop sign, or a red light, or where ever a car had to stop. Then grab onto the rear bumber all ducked down and grab on and slide behind the car on the ice and snow just our tennis shoes.. that was old school Heelys LOL

Would of solved Atlanta's traffic problem yesterday LOL .. Less than one inch of snow shuts down a major city like this.. and I live here.. Duh.. even I saw it coming on my tablet weather app.. do not tell me it was a surprise and only had 15 minutes notice.. Yes that is what they claimed. at 12:15 in the afternoon we had no idea.. at 12:37 the city was stopped. due to no idea we had a storm was coming. I saw it coming 3 hours earlier my self and I am not a trained meteorologist

Nothing to grab on modern cars! Everything is molded plastic.

That is a highly dangerous maneuver and not for the faint of heart! I would rather grab a shark fin!

I tried it on a sled once. My cousin was doing 45mph.
Did ya'll ever get brake checked when the stranger realized you were there?

Much more dangerous, but worth it.

I hear ya. I rode Bareback horses for awhile. Had rotator cuff surgery a few months ago( may or may not have exacerbated it.), Why would I want to do something more dangerous than that?

Something else thats fun is take a snowmobile and take about 50feet of rope tie a sled to it go to a frozen lake and hold on lol. Its fun when they turn and the sled slides sideways.

We used to do this with horses. We didn't have too many frozen lakes though.

When I was in college people used to water ski in irrigation canals,, being pulled by a pickup.. Usually took a little bit of beer and you had to know when the next gate was gonna come up. LOL ( not me, I don't know how to ski,, but I got to drink the beer). Pic of a canal

Well, does anybody remember when you sat in the scoop shovel and a long legged someone on ice skates took the handle and pulled you? Then when he got the speed up he would let go and you'd go flying??
