I have been through that way many times. Its a few hours from here. I never detected there, I see alot of fields that should give up Civil War stuff if you could get permission.

My parents actually went to Boonsboro on their honeymoon and an old girlfriend of mine had family up there.
But I never hunted the area so that I cannot help you with..
