As I live in the US, I can't really detect for Roman/Byzantine artifacts on a daily basis. I'm just curious, what do you guys look for in a seller that specializes in selling artifacts, especially ancient ones? I already bought these online earlier today:

Thank you guys for your time, I really appreciate it.

I have no idea to be honest, but not to sound negative, I would always err on the side of caution when it comes to purchasing antiquities due to the high numbers of reproductions and outright fakes.
I used to be a big time coca-cola collector, I got out after the fakes became so well produced that nobody could tell the difference between farce and the real MCcoy..and that's a bummer.
However since this subject interests me, I will research it extensively over the next few days and then repost.
