Metal detecting in winter at schools and parks

Hi all

Metal detecting in winter with an inch or two of snow on the ground is easy. If you want to find clad quarters or whatever just follow the footprints in the snow where people have been. No brainer. Ha ha Hmmm, might work for sidewalks too with snow on the sidewalks.

One Sunday I went metal detecting in the woods with 20 degree cold and a few inches of snow on the ground, all I found was a pocket spill of 4 wheaties though. I will try again this weekend.

I'll attempt to endure snow, cold and all sorts of discomforts during the wintertime and usually for meager finds, just to do some detecting. Wherever it will
be easiest. Sometimes there's a break in the weather and I'll have a good outing.
