You think they'll be OK with you just strolling around at night waving a foot over the ground?

I could say so many things that would get me in trouble right now. Your foot is the detector, what's your pin pointer ----- never mind.

Landowners give people permission all the time. Maybe you should try to start by not being so resentful toward the landowners. If that does not help the the sollution is simple. Buy the land, hunt the land, resell the land. This way the only land owner you have to deal with is yourself. Happy hunting!

You still have to dig. I guess you can attach a shovel to your other sandal. LOL

Its all in the presentation. Remember, you are selling yourself. If you are on Tnet whining about no permissions, then chances are you may be pushing that attitude forward to the landowner. Join a club and learn a few things, my friend.

Acaldwell32, you can't be serious... I hope.
Is this a "bait thread", hoping to go viral?
Landowners may also have sandals.
Peace ✌

Sick of being turned down. Valuables are wasting away in the ground, and landowners don't like to give permission just because they can. About to buy a pair of sandal detectors and night stroll the damn battlefields around here.

All I can say is go for it !

I don't know how Much it will cost for a Pair

add on The Trespassing Charge, that may happen.
Even though you'll never get a signal from them.

They are a "Novelty" Item. I hope you know that :tongue3:

Now that I said that.

Good One :laughing7: as I know your Joking.
At least I hope so

Yea, was all in good fun. Didn't mean nothing by it. I am very grateful and appreciative to the landowners who have granted me permission, and am always courteous when asking to hunt a new spot. Breaking the law only makes it worse for the relic hunters..........though I cannot lie, the thought has crossed my mind a time or two.

And besides it's difficult to scan with one foot, dig with the other, and swing your pecker at the same time, I'm just not that coordinated;)

EHHHH... welp your sandals idea is lame...
You would still be required to dig....
AND
Um... A trespassing charge will be the least of the problems you have if you get caught digging on a historical "battlefield" at night...
Maybe it's your "Sales pitch"...
Try working up something better than...
"hey man can I dig on your land man?"

when Someone invents a pair that acts like a vacuum, Let me know

They need to detect the Object,
Suck it out of the ground & into my pocket or backpack Quietly
as I stand there talking to the landowners
