Help with whites xlt

It's a coil cover to protect the coil from scraping the ground. For some reason they don't always fit tight and I know a few of us tape the coil cover on with electrical tape.

I have and still do, put a lite bead of clear silicon
around the edge. It holds the coil cover on and keeps sand and dirt out. Black sand can cause you a headach if it gets in. Mike. ::).

be sure to keep it clean (inside) and free of moisture (inside) i have no problem with mine on and it does help promote longer coil life
