These are some pics of my favorite detecting beach. It has nearly frozen solid and made detecting pretty much impossible (not that this has stopped me from trying :laughing7:)

I feel your pain. I can't usually detect from about October to April. And even April can be a tough deal here in Montana.

I feel your pain. I can't usually detect from about October to April. And even April can be a tough deal here in Montana.

I couldn't imagine only 5 months of detecting, I'm going insane after only 2 1/2 not detecting, you poor soul lol that sucks

I guess the tradeoff of old colonial finds kinda evens things out for you frozen-grounders. I also assume you guys use a lot of that winter time to do some very detailed research. Personally, I've never seen frozen ground and I intend to keep it that way.
