Looks like I'm not going to be hunting for a few weeks!

Well Thursday night I had a bad downhill mountain bike crash and snapped my left coller bone!!!! so no detecting for a few weeks for me and trying to deal with the pain.
Was screaming down a trail at 9:30 at night at an extreme rate if speed and whipped out going 19 mph. Tried to role but landed on my shoulder and cracked my left rib cage in a log. After the crash I walked and road my bike back to my car and drove myself to the ER. Took 3 hours to walk 3 1/2 out with a broken coller bone and cracked ribs.
Glad to be home and safe and now trying to deal with the pain by heading to Tybee island for a week to heal on the beach.

You look about as happy and I feel. I'm on the mend, (3 weeks) from rotator cuff surgery and all my detecting is in front of a screen!!

Only takes 6lbs of pressure. Sounds like some sweet trails. Had a buddy hit some sugar sand once and bust his. He looked like Igor. Get well

That's a real bummer! Hope you heal fast! Try and relax and enjoy your healing on the beach time.

I have 2 torn rotated cuffs that the Dr.keeps trying to talk me into surgery for, but 3 months with first one arm in a sling then the other... Uh....not until I have no choice! I just can't.
