Comments Requested About the TinyTec Ultraluxe Probe

Has anybody used the Ultraluxe probe by TinyTec? I'd like to get a handheld pinpointer, but don't want to spend over $100.00 for one. This unit seems good, based on the manufacturer's description but we all know the reason for that.

I'm particularly interested in their 8.5" unit. How about it? Anybody have any comments or suggestions?

i had one, i think it was just the deluxe, worked well, 3/4 to an inch detection range. the shape of it was awkward for carrying, needed a holster. i would buy another one though

Thank you for the input, thompy. They do make a holster for them now. And they're having a coin give-away with each purchase. I was hoping their detection range was larger than 3/4 inch (they claim 2 inches), bummer.
