I,m trying to date certain sites, So ?

Can someone please tell me when people Started Using the Ball , Mason & other types of canning Jars With the Porcelain inside the lids.

I find many Ball & Atlas types but at an Older site (I think) I dug a-lot of these type jars 'Lids' with no brand name that I could See.

Did many people use this or any other type before the Ball & Atlas types.?

When did people start using the jars with the 2 part lids ,like I see for sale now?

Any info will help.

Def, a-lot of great info 'Diff, Ball Writing styles , never thought of that'.
Usually never find the whole Bottle, just the lids.
Guess I can go by the style of writing on the lids. If there is any.
More Research (by me ) needed.
If I find one I promise I wont post it unless it's form the 1800's or full of Silver /GOLD Coins. lol
