I found this in a Metal Detecting book.

Dave Johnson, Chief Designer of First Texas Products and Fisher Research Labs.
Had this to say:-

Treasurenet's Metal Detecting for gold forum. is fairly active.
This forum is not biased toward any manufacturer or specific region, so you get
a broader perspective than on most other forums.
I might add he mentioned other web sites but Treasurenet was the only forum mentioned.

This is from a man who has spent his life Playing Detectors.

So you get a broader perspective than on most other forums how true is this?

What a great pat on the back for this, The Treasurenet Forum.

Happy hunting, JJJ

I have found a lot of gold nuggets and pickers over the years with Dave Johnson designed machines. I used to belong to over a dozen forums, I've been kicked off of two. I found a home here a few years ago and I am so glad I did. The moderators are excellent and all of the industry experts and insiders are active here.

On the other hand . . .

He just mentioned elsewhere that he may not see this thread (or respond). That's too bad.

Been following all that on the other forum. At first I thought he was talking of some other forum than this one, but now I am not sure. If he thought he was getting a virus from here or wherever he should let the Admins of the forum know!

I had a Bertram boat named Sea Bee a while back (excellent open sea boat)

Could you please explain to me what is going on here Ron.
Have I stepped out of line or something?

Just having a chat, Jimmy.
