Western North Carolina

[Finda the Keepa]

I was wondering if anyone here knew of any good detecting sites around the Western North Carolina area
I've been Metal dting for About a month or so. I haven't been able to do much research on my own yet just looking for places. I'm not far from north Georgia or east Tennessee if any one knows any places in those area's also I'll make it a camping and detecting week end.

Hey FK,
MDing was not my hobby when I lived in WNC, so I don't know of any sites personally. You might do some research up past Brevard. A few older towns in that area. Just make sure their not in Pisgah.
Don't know where you're at, but I think there may have been some mines down around Saluda. Worth a web search.
