Ya if your gonna go out and tango with the little buggers its best to be marinated in deet.
If your marinated inside & out with alcohol, i'm not to sure the nail polish would be the best route to go...you'd be colorful, but it maybe a little hard to "paint the target":sly:

But anybody who's been laced badly with them isn't laughing at the time. Thank God I personally have never dealt with a caterpillar sting. So I can't compare a sting from one with a bad lacing from chiggers.
