Can silver coins be melted and cast ? I have a coffee can full of silver dimes and I'd like to make a nice belt buckle or something.

It's possible. Silver Coins usually have a higher value than the equal amount of silver bullion. I'm sure huh could find someone to do a trade w yAh

Sure ca. A jewelry manufacturer here would use coin silver when silver prices were high.
I think coin silver is 90% and 10% copper. If someone knows for sure let me know.
