I saw DB Cooper at a Texas hold em game at The Hard Rock Casino.

Bought his chips with antique bills... and was drinking with Elvis. :P

As a fat, old paratrooper, I want to believe he made it to the ground alive, and didn't have the money torn from him during the egress from the aircraft. I look forward to seeing this.

I used to use the pseudonym D.B. Crooper, back when it was difficult to publish things under just one name. D.B. bailed not too far away from here. I think if his story had come to a close... would have heard about it.

The writers of Prison Break borrowed or stole D B material. He wound up in a S America
rat-hole prison and almost escaped but didn't make it.

Well I watched both nights. At times interesting sometimes not so much. The one thing I don't understand. The rubber bands holding the money together. It was mentioned, I believe, that they couldn't have existed in that environment for the length of time from the day of the high jacking until it was found on the beach. If this is true how did the money get there? For me that is a question that should be looked at. And if he didn't make it where is the parachute?

Sadly the last hour could have aired in 10 Minutes.
Allot of Recaps & Commercials compared to the first 3 .
That irritated me a Bit.

I disagree on on the Rubber bands lasting. If they sat unmolested they would have easily Lasted.
They would have Dried out been part of the mushy bills..
Perhaps that is what they meant though , That the rubber bands were still rubbery .
as for the bills they should have been like Hardened into a brick and Slimy. they should not have fell apart like they showed.

they should have looked like this or worse, being they were in the sand.

Untitled.jpg

they should have had to be sent to be professionally dried and separated.
I know that was supposed to be a reenactment.
but either it was a very bad reenactment, or that money
was in a dry place for years, then transplanted by the father or someone for his kid to find.
perhaps thinking a reward would make up for the worthless marked bills.

It's obvious to me also He survived the Jump, However what is Not obvious to me that they could
narrow down Where he Jumped.
other thing that came to mind.

No FBI Shadowing the Airliner in a Private Aircraft ?
They had time to get the cash together but not Fuel a aircraft ?
FBI, Private or Military ? just to keep an Eye ?

Someone was either Very Unprofessional imo
or info is being held back

I wasted three-hours watching this. I feel almost as cheated out of my time as the hour I devoted to "Gold Rush.":BangHead:

I honestly don't regret watching it, but they left way more questions then I had hoped.

only thing they really answered was that the FBI pretty much isn't interested in anything
till they get the Parachute or the rest of the cash. and my guess they still wouldn't reopen the case. add to that they don't have any trustworthy witnesses any more .
too much time for memories to be sharp yet

I pretty much agree with all this. There seems to be more to the story than what we are being told or is known. I would doubt if one of those bill were passed today anyone would notice.

yea ya just take a drive down to south America &
launder it by Breaking large bills for everything ya Buy.
they aren't going to send the Serial Numbers to the FBI,
odds are they will circulate for a little down there and if in particularly nice shape,
some may end up in
a collectors cache. even if one or more end up migrating back up and somehow
get i.d'd what are the odds of them tracing them back down to
where they were first spent ?
