Found a Dave and Orla....email inbound to your site. And funny enough, my kids are only a five hour drive from them!!!

I thought when I posted on here that it was a long shot, but the best leads have come from this forum.

It's a long weekend here with lots of people on the move. To compound the issue, the folks that my son is hunting down were evacuated from the Fort McMurray fires but he is chasing a few leads.

We just need to sit tight to see if these folks are still there or if they headed back to Ireland or Nova Scotia or somewhere else......

Well, contact was made and that is not the couple that lost the ring. His reply:

Hey there. Unfortunately, this is not us. We have only been together for about 4 years and have never resided in the UK. While Orla is from Ireland, we met in North America, and have only visited Europe a handful of times.


Hopefully others will have some luck in locating David and Orla.
