Well I've made no secret of the fact that after well over a decade, I have not found an Indian Head Cent ! (and I really want one !) As a series I have yet to find any Seated Liberty coins either.

I have also never found a Liberty Standing quarter, Franklin half, Walker, Peace dollar, 2 cent piece, and again any American gold coin.

I also have not found an Indian head penny after years of searching but would really like to find one. I would love to find a trime or 2 cent piece but doubt I ever will in my current location. Persistence does pay off though. I started 2016 wanting to find a Walking Liberty half but thought it would never happen. Now I've found 2 in the last few months. My advice is to keep swinging and dig everything. Over time you will be rewarded.

note if your after indain head cents --you need to leave zinc cents in your detecting notch zone -- take a indain cent and a zinc cent and run the both under your coil you will see why ....notching out the modern zinc cent -is the same as -notching out the indains ....

I have not found any gold coins or a Pine Tree Shilling, I would love to find one of those. I did find and 1916 Egyptian Piaster in my go to ball field which was a pretty neat find.
