Next time, you could improve the quality of the answers you may get if you (1) Include a ruler next to the object; and (2) Include a photo of the back and the edge.

Where was this object found? Did you dig it or did you purchase it. Many many reproductions of this kind of item so unless it wa dug somewhere in South America the chances are extremely high it isn't old.

That's what Google said when I took a picture of it and asked google. Then a friend of mine said that there is a mayan bat god. The piece has a cup built in back of it. Here is picture of back
