This Occurs When one of the two dies is intended for another coin.. to date all but one has been struck on a blank intended for the larger coin.. By Arlyn G.Sieber.. Cent and dime. dollar and quarter. ALL BUT ONE WHAT IS ONE. Does it mean nothing has been struck on a nickel or 50 cent piece

I am not sure I follow your question, but what it means is a cent planchet was struck with one cent die and one dime die, or a small size dollar planchet struck with one dollar die and one quarter die. These are commonly known as mules.
