I found a WWII button 2 weeks ago at a 100 year old house. Since then I wondered about who's it was. I went back today and found a dog tag from 1962. I googled the guy's name, Dr. L. L. Landon, and found out he's deceased. I read his obituary and it said he was a Lieutenant in the Navy in World War II. Mystery solved. IMG_2118.JPG IMG_2300.JPG IMG_2301.JPG

The dog tag lists the veterinarians name, not the pet owners name. Could be the same, but I doubt it.

Ah, ok I just saw the obituary. If they were both in the same yard, odds are pretty good.
